VITSOL at the Fire Protection Conference 2025 in Ostrava

On 10–11 September 2025, the 34th International Fire Protection Conference took place, this time under the motto “Current Challenges in Fire Protection.” The traditional meeting of fire safety professionals was hosted at the auditorium of VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava.

The conference has long focused on key areas of fire safety – from prevention and response to explosion prevention, testing, research, and development. It also provided a platform for discussions on current challenges related to new technologies and demanding infrastructure projects.

VITSOL at the conference

VITSOL was represented at the conference by Petr Mikunda, who joined expert discussions and lectures. The main topics of this year’s edition included:

  • the need for changes in fire prevention,

  • high-speed railways and railway tunnels,

  • fire response documentation,

  • explosion prevention,

  • fire protection research and development,

  • testing and certification in fire protection.

These areas are highly relevant to us at VITSOL, as fire protection today is closely connected with the technologies we help our clients integrate and maintain.

Why it matters to VITSOL

Participating in professional events like this brings us up-to-date know-how and new trends, which we can apply directly to our solutions in the areas of:

  • integration of safety technologies,

  • digital support for operational management,

  • design and maintenance of systems that protect health, property, and infrastructure.

By sharing experience with experts from practice, academia, and public institutions, we are able to continuously improve our services and respond to the new challenges that fire protection brings.

Looking ahead

The Fire Protection Conference is always a great source of inspiration for us. We would like to thank the organizers and expert guarantors for preparing an excellent program and creating the opportunity to discuss key topics in contemporary fire safety.

We look forward to the next edition – and to new opportunities to advance safety technologies and IT solutions for fire protection even further.
